At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, the company PreEvnt unveiled Isaac, a portable device that promises to measure blood sugar levels without finger pricks, instead analyzing the breath of the person using it.
The sensor, roughly the size of a coin, is designed to be worn around the neck or carried in a bag, betting on a non-invasive technology that moves away from both traditional finger-prick testing and skin-worn sensors.
It's still an emerging technology shown at a consumer-tech event, so clinical studies and possible regulatory approval will be needed to find out whether it meets the accuracy required for routine medical use.
